Current minion block is horrible

So how about instead of minions literally blocking you get slowed for every minion you are touching with your champion model?

PD and other Abilities would still keep their benefits, it would just be a buff to Swifties and abilities that ignore/reduce slows. But if that is an issue, you could just define the slow as a new cc, called minion block and have it not be effected by slow altering effects.

I think minion block is fine if it would work like intended.. it is so unreliable and unpredictable.. so this needs to be fixed please!

I believe that Riot's main arguement to not letting walk through your allied minions is that you can basically stand on top of minions to prevent enemies from cs'ing.

That's a good point. But even then you could at least disable minion block when no opposing champions are in x range, right?

That, and smaller models could stand inside larger minions to become invulnerable to non-AoE attacks.

Teemo could literally become untouchable if an inhibitor went down by just standing inside the super minion.

Well that wouldn't happen if this

was implemented. Also it would be no problem to just define champions to always be above of minions. If both were implemented you couldn't hide inside minions yourself or block cs while opponents are nearby.

IMO just putting champions on top of Minions would be a fair trade-off by itself. I think it would be alright to make cs blockable and open up new strategies for playing bot lane, like Siv did with Hecarim back in the day. But I also see why that is debatable.

Either way thank you for your feedback. :)

oh the memories of reverse support hecarim. that was amazing.

wasnt gangplank capable of q'ing his own minions a long time ago and deny cs this way?

Ally minion block shouldn't be a thing and its nothing but a negative.

No minion block should be in the game till they fix pathing and minion agro. So maybe its ok in a hundred years.

Ally minion block shouldn't be a thing and its nothing but a negative.

then people will just stand inside minions and never get hit by "stop at one target" skillshots

I mean yeah, it's not like the minions aren't knee height or anything.

another proof of riot just being stubborn assholes.

remember nexus blitz? they had to disable the collision with the walking nexus as people would just trap it in their base making it very very hard to get to.

then pro players started to clip minions into their tower on purpose so the enemy gets less exp. what did riot do? disable the minion collision for the first few waves.

it is clearly not a huge problem to turn it off, riot just doesnt want to.

100% agree with the topic - current minion block / pathing is comedically awful. It's really exacerbated with larger champs.

I took a break through most of 2018, and when I came back something had been changed for the worse with pathing and minions. Whatever was done to pathing in 2018, just undo it already.

I've already posted about this but there needs to be defined mechanics in this game and glitchy collision isn't consistent for any strategy. This is Riot's chance to make an interesting mechanic with minion blocking.

I've been killed by minion block. I guess their on the enemy team now. My own minions.

I once had a team fight where neither side could initiate because a minion wave of super on both sides didn't allow it.

We just awkwardly cleared minions and tried again. It just really kills the momentum of a well places Janna tornado that can't be followed up because mininions OP

It feels like lag so you look at your ping and its fine, it's pretty bad. Hell, i play some smaller champs and it still happens

Bye bye thread. Have fun down there with Pyke and Nautilus. (._.)/

Yet another problem Riot is just realizing; Dota solved this problem 20 centuries ago with phase boots. Make phase boots and change minion collision to be even bigger. Maybe then the laning phase will require more skill.

Minion block is the one thing I truly hate about this game. I've been killed because of it, missed canon minions, and even lost games. Dota always had it, but for some reason it feels natural there.

I agree, I honestly prefer old minionblock, because new is just excessive.
