Regarding Shens rework. Opinion regarding why hes in a bad spot

Something i've noticed is that Shen does not have a weak early game. He has a GREAT early game. I usually don't lose lane on shen and if i do it's not bad at all. Maybe 0-2 at most?

What I did notice is that his kit falls off extremely fast.

Today against a Lee sin He was literally Ignoring my Q attacks. I feel as if without his Taunt Shen just becomes this useless Ult bot. Yes his Ult is great but idk his kit feels meh now. I love the whole concept but squishies should NOT be able to ignore a tanks autos. If i tried the same with naut id be soloing anyone.

This WOULD be fine yeah, Him not having damage as a tank Even with tit hydra? Yeah i understand thats fine.

But here is another problem that conflicts with the previous one.

He gets kited way too easy.. Anyone with an Iceborn gauntlet makes it so Shen literally becomes useless. Ezreal for example. You eat One Q-W-E after iceborn and thats it, You are not ever catching him. Yes thats the point of the item but anyone with a slow makes it hard.

You cannot Q the 3 procs on someone unless they let you or are stunned..

Ok even if im wrong ( which i understand because this is just my opinion from playing him a shit ton )

Why does his Q and Ult scale off AP? When does shen ever build freaking AP? What the hell is a 5% max health for 3 hits after the 25 minute mark?

He needs to be seen as a real threat. There is no reason Poppy gets reworked and shes literally pick/ban And shen gets reworked yet nobody plays him because his flaws are obvious Even when im fighting a shen everyones going caster ADCs now his W late game is just cute. Best way i can put it.

Then he also has the problem of his horribly horribly energy consumption.. His W should not cost energy. But his E passive needs to be moved to his Q and recover more.
