It's a small change, but I think that every support will appreciate it. It's really annoying when you want to upgrade trinket but you're in a position where you can't back for more than 4 minutes.
Provided you can swap it back without it giving the cooldown. Sometimes the range of the basic sweeper is what you want. Safety and all.

Oracle is the better Trinket for objective-controll, that's save to say, but if laning is still a thing at 9 Sweeping is surperior because of its cast range.
I'd rather not, since they're different enough.
Personally vs Akali I'd like to not have to stand in the middle of her shroud to keep anti-vision on it.
Then how am I supposed to throw it on a choke point to fuck with stealth champs?
The lesser version is there for a reason.
I sometimes prefer the lvl 1 red trinket for safer dewarding. I can use it from a distance and see if there is an enemy in the bush. I do not have to facecheck, because the oracles range is so small.

I disagree.
There are times when I purposefully do not upgrade it. Generally when behind and being in range for the effect to work could be dangerous. The basic sweeper can be cast at a range, and will work at that location for its duration. This means I can throw it on the dragon pit and leave vs having to stay in range till the wards are cleared and to maintain the reveal effects.
Usually a few levels later, or another item later I will feel safer upgrading the sweeper to teir 2 when staying in range to block vision, disable traps, and clear wards is safer.
Automatically upgrading it would take that away from me.
