It feels like he is forgotten. I haven't seen him in awhile.

Nocturne is fine. Just fine.

He could use some sustain in his kit to help the early clears for the jungle

He's pretty balanced. That's why you never see him.

Strong.

I played him yesterday, and he's kinda fine. I built him with warrior, because I couldn't afford getting sated and building BotRK

He who must not be named.

He is in a shadow of some other champions, and could use a minor gameplay update.

He is still quite strong. And i do see him occasionally, but there are more OP or Busted champs than ever before, hence you barely see him. Not that he is weak, he feels balanced, but the OPs are crowding out the non-OPs

He is good mid game but kind of sucks when teams group up. I'd say he's good but a niche pick. He's not that favored by the meta now either since some junglers like Nidalee or Graves can snowball the game and steal your jg before you even get your ult. Immobile ADCs also aren't meta and Nocturne doesn't have instant burst like Rengar so it's hard to kill an Ezreal, Graves, Lucian, Vayne etc.

However, I think he's much stronger in the last week because people are playing Jhin and that chamion is freelo for Nocturne.

It matters who he is against and with; which is probably the way it should be.

Nocturne has been in a very balanced state for years...maybe a tad on the weak side.

I'm Diamond Nocturne main. I can tell you noc is pretty healthy right now. He is not popular because there better picks with faster clear and gank potential (early game). He is an amazing duelist if built correctly.

One major issue is that Nocturne does not work on lower elos (pre Gold 2). Low elo players suffer in lanes a lot and throw the game faster than the load screen. However, he is fantastic in higher elo because there are less lane presence needed and you can rush your level by 6 pre 7 minutes.

Would I recommend noc? Maybe. There are better picks. Is he easy to play? Fairly yes, but you need to know everyone's abilities to correctly maximize his W.

I don't see a reason to pick him. He needs work done to him so that he has an identity. He's stuck between a fighter and assassin and is terrible at both. He's squishy by nature so he isn't that great of a fighter, and the only thing that resembles an assassin in his kit is his ultimate.

I like how he's both a mix of a fighter and an assassin so if Riot does work on him I hope they keep that mixture rather than just forcing him into one class, though like I said he definitely needs work done so he has a legitimate reason to be played over others.

He's a pretty fucking strong snowball assassin pick at the moment, in terms of his ratio of ease-to-impact. I don't really like him as an early pick, since common picks like Lulu and Kindred ruin his day, but if I'm picking a bit later on and I see champs like Twisted Fate, Lux, and Soraka coming out on the enemy team, I instantly lock Nocturne. He blows them up from half the map away and there isn't a damned thing they can do about it.

Nocturne is actually pretty good at the moment i mean sure he could use a bit more sustain but outside of that he is in a pretty good spot at the moment
