Is "broken" the new "meta"?

It seems like there is an overwhelmingly high number of champions right now that are just broken-tier OP.

I'm not trying to complain about champions like Yasuo who are just oppressive laners or who can come back from a 0/15 deficit and carry late game.

CoC exploiters like Riven and Nautilus, stealth champs like Rengar and Evelynn, super junglers like Shyvana and Lee Sin, cancer carries like Vayne and Twitch, etc. have made the current meta, at least at low-mid ELO, a complete "delete you before you can even Zhonya's". I feel like immobile champs are even less viable now than they were this time last year (which was a terrible time for them as well). Post 20 minutes, if one of these champs gets near you, you are going to die.

Okay, I got the QQ out of my system, so now I ask it as a legitimate question. What is the general consensus right now around the current meta, and do you think the game is heading in a healthy direction in the "power creep" department?

Players are always looking for that extra boost for the win, whether it's new jungle tactics, broken builds with OP champions, there will always be some way or another for players to get "Freelo"

Currently that's just how the game is right now, with runes, masteries, item and champions that needs to be balanced everything some changes, it's won't take long for those players to find another loophole to abuse until Riot shut's it down or plugs the hole.

However, Broken is not the new meta, as bans can still shut down those pesky picks, but when you have six bullets against maybe 10-20 builds that could wreck you and your team, it's no wonder people think this way.

People don't want to admit it, but League is probably the hardest game to balance with the way Riot has implemented their system.

You can't claim nautilus exploits CotC. How dare a tank mastery be good on a tank.
