Can we talk about Cassiopeia? (Bug)

I was playing against a Cassiopeia, and as soon as she hit 6, she turned around (facing her tower, I was walking towards my own.. i.e. we were facing away from each other), she ulted behind her (towards her tower) and mid ult, somehow flashed towards me and stunned me even though I was not facing her.

I'm assuming because I was facing SW and she was facing NE at the time her ult was casted, the game registered that as us looking in each others direction, even though we weren't. This wouldn't be an issue because the ult wouldn't hit you in these cases, but somehow the immediate ult+flash (i'm not entirely sure the order it happened, it was basically instant) still hit me, even though the graphic for it was a good 600-700 units away from me, aimed in the opposite direction.

Please let me know if I'm not explaining this properly. It was a strange occurrence.. trying to make sense of it myself still.

With Cass ult, or Ahri Charm, you can flash after the ability has been started. The ability will continue to fire in the direction it was cast.

Sounds like the Cass made a badass play if she managed to actually flash behind you. I use this all the time to flash towards an unsuspecting enemy team and try and stun them when they think I'm out of range.
