Why take grasp when you can take aftershock and be tanky while doing damage. Grasp also doesn't stack much if you get counterpicked and are unable to AA the enemy. For a keystone, it's pretty useless, even a non-keystone spell like demolish has more use.

But with aftershock you get 70-120 resist which is huge throughout the game compared to the minor 2% hp heal and 5 hp stacks on a cd. Any tank that can't use aftershock would be better off using a different keystone than grasp.
