Bounties are still broken

Just got through a game, where I got put far behind early. Died 8 times, and ended up 2 levels behind and down 60 cs on my laner.

I then went on to take a few deep breaths, detilt, and make a bit of a comeback. I didn't die again for a while. I managed to pick up a few kills during my roams. I was still 2 levels down on my lane opponent and 50 cs down, but i was 4/8 instead of 1/8.

To which Riot responds by putting a 150 gold bounty on my head.

Why?

Our team was still collectively behind their team. I was still significantly weaker than my opposing laner. I was far from the strongest member on my team. I was relevant enough to do damage, but nowhere near what the opposing Jinx or TF were capable of pumping out.

So why does the game determine that, because I'm slowly mounting a comeback, THAT is worthy of being punished with a bounty?

Because you were killing people that nets you a bounty lmao. Always has.

If you were losing and then killing people aren't the odds good that you got an even bigger bounty awarded to yourself?
