IF you have to nerf Garen,

I'm not saying he's OP by any means, but if Riot decides to nerf him, they should just remove the cleansing effect from his Q. boom

This preserves the whole, slow and strong thing.

Immobile =/= Slow

Juggernauts are immobile in that they have no gap closers or blinks, however raw movement speed is still something they can rely on.

ive seen a better suggestion, if they were to touch him.

someone mentioned to change his ult instead of dealing true damage to the villain from level 6 on, it could gain 50% magic pen against the villain at level 6, 75% at level 11 and at lvl 16 the ult would unlock, dealing true damage to the villain.

this would mirror darius ult, and keep his lategame intact. a lot of complaints jst came from people who would win against him in lane, turning into the villain and allowing him to take them out with the damage boost.

while this wouldnt change the mechanic, overall it would tune him down early while he still gets to keep some advantage against the villain wirth the true damage on the spin, and the magic pen, and his powerful ult by lategame.

I'm curious how it would pan out, if Garen's deaths didn't count towards villany (E.g: if Garen dies in lane, his enemy won't become the villain unless he kills someone else; Garen could die OVER AND OVER and his enemy still wouldn't gain villainy)

the problem is, the mark is supposed to hit the guy who has the largest killing spree currently.

if you exclude garen from that, it might lead to wonky effects. early game this might be sound like a good solution, but lategame his deaths should count towards the villain. no idea how youd separate that. it should rarely hit his lane opponent either way. early game its often the enemy jungler or someone on bot lane.

in the event, that it does hit his opponent, the ult would at least not be quite as strong with 50% magic pen vs true damage.
