TL:DR Riven is a BS champ, always has been.

How the hell do you deal with a Riven? I keep hearing 'Oh shes easy to stop", 'Don't feed her" blah blah blah. But can ANYONE answer this? I even see diamond/plat streamers complain about her.

So answer it. How the hell do you deal with a Riven?

And to answer, I ganked a lvl 5 half health Riven and she ended up with a double, while me AND the garen both had full health. And don't say she outplayed us because she stood in the exact same spot the entire time.

I dont know what jungler you were ganking with but Garen can solo Riven at most points in of the game so if she was as low as you say she was you guys should have gotten her.

Riven does pretty well against Garen.

Riven does a good amount of damage, over time. So the best way to deal with Riven is to have mid gank her early. Alternatively, you could have another champ who does even more damage over time like Renekton or Olaf. I know that Olaf gets into Riven player's heads because of his axe. But nobody likes to, or really knows how to, play champs.

A lot of the time, Riven benefits from people not knowing how to counter-pick effectively. Play Riven, find out what you can and can't do. Then look up her counter-picks and see which one you could pick that also counters the other champs in the game most effectively.

I use taric top vs her and no problems with her . or you can use her no or Quinn . blind blocks her a.

Whenever I see a Riven, I play Quinn and laugh evilly. Quinn's E cancels Riven's stupid triple-jump-attack-thing (I have never played Riven, I dunno what its called or what key it is) and then it instantly applies Quinns passive, so she cancels Riven's initiation and then do a crap load of damage on her. Then her Q is an AoE skillshot blind, so if Riven is next to minions, even if you hit the minions instead of her, she'll still be blinded, and blinded Riven misses AAs, which seem to be a good source of her damage.
