She doesn't play like an assassin. She plays like a burst mage. If you build damage, you can pretty much one shot anyone with less than 75% at level six, from a potential 1400 range (past fog of war). I absolutely love her. Her mana costs aren't too high! Just conserve your spells! And most importantly... don't miss!

Unless Zed fights you directly, his poke is avoidable for the most part.

Godhri1 votesObviously Zed has lane pressure advantage, but with proper positioning and wave control, you can create a favorable situation where you get Zed to all in you and the trade goes in your favor. Exhaust is a must though unless you are like... super skilled.
Godhri1 votesZed's got nothing on Lux. I've never lost lane against Zed as Lux. Of course, after laning phase, he does become something of a threat to her once he catches up.

Zed is tricky. You have to use your E to poke him when he goes in to CS, and possibly pop his passive. You do it when he goes to CS so that way you hit the minions plus zed, therefore you can keep up with his waveclear. You also HAVE to dodge his Q, otherwise he will simply poke you out of lane and possibly all in you under tower.
Its possible, but very hard to beat him or go even with him in lane. I do think zed might need some nerfs and maybe some possible buffs for lux.
