how to fix cait and make her a true sniper this is for all the ppl qqing bout cait

im just going to simply say it.

if an enemy steps on caitlyns trap, caitlyn has a 3 second window to use her ultimate on the target and the ultimate does not go on cooldown.

pros: caitlyn can use traps to setup for free ultimate shots more gameplay towards cait most likely the tanks will step on it

why it wont be op:

3 second window

caitlyn has to setup traps and enemies have to actually step on it (most of the time it will be a tank or support who steps on it)

ultimate isnt really huge damage

for ppl who overthink : caitlyn can still use ultimate normally without the traps and it would go on the usual cooldown.

edit 2: if caitlyn uses ultimate normally without the traps. and someone steps on the traps when her ultimate is on cooldown. it wont refresh her ultimate. she still has to wait for the cooldown.

She is really strong and that ult hurts late game. 1k 100% free damage?

This is just ridiculous. Maybe it would be better as;

If you hit a player with Ace in the Hole who is revealed by a Yordle Snap-Trap, AitH cooldown will be reduced. or If you aim at a player with Ace in the Hole who is caught in a Yordle Snap-Trap when targeted, Ace in the Hole will pierce through all enemy champions to reach them, doing 20% damage to each enemy it passes through, and 20% less to the target for each one it passed through.

That's it. Reducing the CD or giving a piercing shot. I wouldn't suggest any more of a buff concerning her Ult.

I think they need to focus on making the game more stable before they change any other moves. Iv been losing bc of DC 2 of 3 games. Champs arent op...2 ppl on your team DC'ing for 10 min is op. No matter how well you play you cant win a 3v5. -_-
