Shaco and his traps idea
Summoner's Rift is a very big map, and the cooldown reduction can only take you so far when it comes to mass-producing Shaco traps. Of course, it's not meant to be something you can spread all over the map, but still, I feel the traps are missing something in the scaling department.
The damage is fine(it scales with AP, not sure what the ratio is), but I would like to see another way the traps can scale with AP. Scale the invisibility duration of the traps with 0.15 seconds per AP. This would mean Shaco would need 100 AP to extend the traps' duration by a mere twenty-five percent, or 15 seconds. And 400 AP would effectively double the duration, or add 60 seconds. You could also use an even smaller scaling number for attacking duration(0.01 seconds per bonus AD, like the shivs perhaps, if you're worried about AP being too good for the traps, so instead of 400 AP = 4 extra seconds of attacking traps you would need 400 bonus AD for that 4 extra seconds), but I think this idea is fine for starters, and it's easy enough for you to come up with that idea by yourselves if you want to do even more.
With AP increasing the time the traps are on the battlefield before being discovered, Shaco can cover more of the map with them. Currently, Summoner's Rift proves to be a very big battlefield, and late game traps tend to become useless since they will disappear so quickly. Allowing the traps to last longer with additional AP would help a lot for the AP to be worthwhile and I don't think it would be too strong. At the moment, I only find AD Jungle role Shaco to be viable. Whenever I play AP Jungle role Shaco, my allies tend to be completely oblivious to my traps and ignore them. It is then up to me to lure the opponents into my own traps, and that is simply not a reliable method of operation in the majority of my games(not because I can't lead them, the tricky parts are surviving long enough to do so, as well as getting my team to notice what I'm doing and jump in when the traps are sprung). With a longer duration on the SR, the traps can have a better chance to do their job without interference from Shaco himself. Straight up buffing the duration doesn't seem like a good idea, but I don't see why not buff the duration through AP, as long as the number for scaling used is small enough.
