Is there a valid reason why Caitlyn's traps reveal you for a millenium?

Just asking for a friend.

I'm totally not somebody who is bummed out by the fact that the description says you're revealed for a 'short time' and it's something along the line of 10 seconds. I don't know your definition of short, but in a MOBA, 10 seconds are an entire teamfight.

This is a minor balance issue on Caitlyn and I think it really wouldn't hurt her if those Trap reveals lasted 2-3 seconds at best, not twice or even three times as long. Given how hard she hits when you just accidentally step into one of those things, the least you can do is nerf the reveal duration.
