Trynd can ult while CC'd but mages can't use Zhonyas while cc'd

because mages can nuke you from fucking orbit and ideally should never get themsleves into the position where they need it. zonyas is a luxurity for them, while tryns ult is neccessary for him to function. as a melee champion he cant avoid burst and cc by positioning without being entirely useless.

that being said. fuck tryn. dude needs a rework.

Because it would be ridiculously easy to shut him down. He would have to preemptively ult every fight, and that would mean compensation buffs.
