IDK what happened to my computer but lately I either get disconnected few times a game,my pings jumps to 500 with my Wireless network disconnecting and all others along with him disappearing(I can't reconnect unless I restart my computer) or my laptop freezes(screen freezes, mouse freezes etc.). It saddens me cause my laptop is now just 1 year old and I don't know what else do to.

If anyone has any suggestions or knows how to fix anything. Please let me know,I don't want to stop playing :(((

Clean out the laptop hardware and check if your OS is infected, maybe consider a fresh install of OS if you don't know how to know what's supposed to be there and what isn't

Is that hard? CauseI I didn't understand most of what you just said. I'm sorry.I will try it with guides on the net,but how hard is it to do all that?

^ This is good advice.

Software can wear down just as much as hardware. Viruses and software bugs can mess up a computer's ability to operate normally too. Get a different kind of antivirus (malwarebytes has a free version if you don't want to buy something) and you should use the new software to scan for issues.

Also check which programs are running, if any of them seem to be using unusual amounts of memory, look into them in particular.

And my Windows 10 laptop has a similar thing happen occasionally on wifi. My best recommendation if you discover its not the software is to get a USB to ethernet adapter and just run an ethernet cable from your router to your computer when you play. Wifi is terrible for stable play, and if ethernet is an option I wouldn't even attempt to use wifi.

Another thing to consider is that some electronic devices (if poorly designed or worn out) can actually interfere with wifi, which might explain why every network disappears from your list. An old microwave that leaks radiation can completely scramble and jam nearby wifi signals when it is running (this happened to a friend of mine in high school - whenever his parents or siblings would use the microwave he'd lose connection to the internet and it led to a lot of frustration for him).

I could try it with an ethernet cable, but I think it has something to do with my laptop and not internet. The microwave part is interesting and funny XD

Thanks for the advice :D

I managed to resolve the "freeze issue" ,but the disconnecting persists.

Which steps did you already try? I'll see what else I can recommend.

A fresh install of league or of windows entirely might do the trick.

Could also be that your etnernet / wifi cards need driver updates.

Hey,thank you so much for the activity, but I managed to resolve it ( it appeares at least so) with a bunch of tutorials on on Youtube and guides online. Thank you again :D

try reinstalling the game.

Thanks, but I'm not sure if it's the game at all or if it's just a part of it. I 'll try it.Ty

Maybe one out of a bunch of possible reasons.

Well. A freeze sounds that it maybe a problem with temperature of CPU/GPU. You will have to check this. For the other problems this maybe also the reason. I would additionally check if this happens too when the laptop is plugged in.

I'm using a laptop cooling pad and it's never really been that warm/hot to begin with. Could it myb be Windows10?

Pandeonor2 votes

Not really.

A freeze is most likely caused by hot GPU. If GPU is hot, CPU might also be hot wich may cause a cutoff at speed (throttle) wich would result in performance-loss wich may result in failures like low fps and so on (perhaps highping).

So - please check your temperature with a proper program. Let´s say OCCT or furmark or (best) MSI Afterburner with OnScreenDisplay (Rivvatuner installed) and playing League.

Ur wireless card may be dying. Have u tried disabling ur onboard and buying a USB wireless network adapter and trying that?

or my laptop freezes(screen freezes, mouse freezes etc.). It saddens me cause my laptop is now just 1 year old and I don't know what else do to.

This may be a problem with memory leaking. When u play league, try to keep all other programs closed except the bare necessities... like all of ur regular background programs that keep your compy going like the volume control apps, antivirus, firewall, etc... and a voip if you play with one during league.

If that doesn't help, ur compy might be overheating. Try setting it on one of those cooling pads or slightly elevate the back so that ur compy is sitting at an angle with air flow beneath it.

I usually don't have any other programs running,as I close them before playing. My phone's Wi-fi is also turned off. My compy already has a cooling pad. When it freezes it's mostly cool. I will try all the suggestions here.People have been very helpful.
