6.18 Yasuo and Frozen Mallet

Rejoice everyone, the nerfs to Yasuo worked in that it reduced his ridiculous oppressiveness from 55% wr to a manageable 51-52% wr.

As a Yasuo main, I totally agree with the changes but I can't help but feel even worse about Yasuo now than before his sudden power spike. His bruiser/tank-esque definitely left very few weaknesses. But now his mid-late game autos feels awful. They just feel SOOOOO slow. Most Yasuo players build one AS item (usually PD). Zerkers used to be overkill to get compared to getting defensive boots, but now I feel like they may be more viable. Going Triforce second is also not as good because of the ult nerfs, requiring crits to apply the 50% bonus armor penetration. His ult also doesn't use this pen. The frozen mallet changes buffed its health so now Yasuo is tankier but does less damage.

Overall, the changes were aimed at tuning down his bruiser build, but they also nerfed his usual build (going IE second) in the process. They didn't compensate for the nerfs so rushing damage isn't as good anymore. Why go full damage when you can do almost the same amount but while being healthier and having great sticking power? These changes merely solidified the bruiser playstyle instead of cementing his intended glass cannon style. Is it just me that feels bad about these changes or should I just jump on this bandwagon and accept that this is the new Yasuo?

People complain that Frozen Mallet's passive is toxic/frustrating to play against so why is it still here? Am I crazy to not like this build?

TLDR; nerfs were needed to his bruiser build but it inadvertently nerfed his full damage build which was his intended playstyle and less toxic. Am I just stupid for thinking this -- should I just be thankful that this is the new Yasuo and is superior/better to the past?

I mean frozen mallet is still super strong on yasuo so there wasn't too much of a nerf there. Frozen mallet is implemented because mages have rylais im p. sure
