RIOT Hasn't answered ANY post regarding this issue. (or Shaco's rework in general)
Thunderlord's DOESN'T proc if you backstab (his new passive) someone as Shaco.
1 patch later, still no answer, still nothing in the new patch notes.
Working as intended? Or a lack of fucks given?
That's a bug. We've got a fix in for testing for patch 6.24, along with a change to address another issue with the passive (Backstab always dealing its own damage if the attack also naturally crits - it should take whichever of the values is higher).
Are there any buffs coming his way, specifically to his E? His Ad damage seems so underwhelming.
His E does no dmg unless you build AP
And if you gave AD some help, I wouldn't hold it against you.

I'm with Barful. Backstab needs something else to buff it when it crits. What if a crit backstab reset his deceit so shaco has the opportunity to either finish the job or book it out of there if things don't go well?
Actually I want to amend that, what they're doing is fixing the fact that at the moment even if you build crit, if the passive procs, you only do the damage of the passive. Now the normal crits will override the passive, making you do full damage. The only time passive crits are important now is when you're not succeeding with normal crits (not getting good rng). Perhaps now if you normal crit, your passive will still be up? If it doesn't go on CD, that would be spiffy when you don't have 100% crit chance. You'd still be a lot more likely to do extra damage from behind when you don't get normal crits off consistently.
