Why did you ruin your own game?

So before this shitty idea for a rune rework your game was in a healthy spot. Where nearly every champ was viable. Sure some were more desired to be picked but it wasnt based off champion skill kits but rather the items that were in the game and where their power was. Runes allowed you survive in a lane to at least get you to a point where you could fight back in most intances. Now you get one shot by nearly anyone in lane unless you are a tank. Your game was probably in the best place it had ever been for the overall health of picks and bans. So much so you brought in an additional 4 bans because so many were viable. Lets not forget that you had every champ buffed/nerfed for the old rune system for the AR/MR that were standard in rune pages. You added some to overall champs, but frankly isnt enough based of what the standard pages brought.

You mean the time where everyone automatically have 9 Armor Seals & 9 Magic Resist Scaling glyphs?

That's a lot better than having NO bonus armour or MR and getting one shot by almost anything unless you're a tank.

It's a change for the better. Being forced to spend copious amounts of IP on runes as well as not having much choices in runes themselves was a pretty jank system. This is the downside of changing the system, we have to deal with terrible balance while everything gets tuned back into place over a few patches.

This kind of stuff happens every preseason, at least they have an actually good reason to do it this time, and it's still not as bad as the last preseason.

easy fix instead of making the game nearly intolerable to play unless you are a top lane tank, make runes cheaper and not cost the price of a champion for a set of 9 of them. this new system is fucking stupid/ Cause frankly as an adc player, you shouldnt lose a lane cause a brain dead champ like sona can walk up and press Q and you lose 25% of your hp because she can hit one button. They tuned that entire game based off the previous tradional rune pages, but bring in the new system before addressing the over tuned shit that would be in this system.

Better yet make every champ skill a skill shot, not just press a button for free damage
