Can we address how off hitboxes are with hooks?

Have all managed to pull me or someone else with the strangest hooks i've ever seen.
Whether it be from behind a minion or completely off to the side.
Why is no one talking about this?

It's most likely lag. Even if you're playing on 40 ping, which seems good, the same action could have happened 5 times already on a Koreans game. The gap usually isn't that big, but little ping spikes make a huge difference when it's all or nothing abilities (either he hooked you or didn't). Also hitboxes don't always match the animation of the ability.
Thresh hit box gets a little bit wider at the end. Naut hit box extends just a little bit farther than the animation shows. I'm not sure how the blitz anination is broken. Out of all three I think thresh's q hit box is working as intended.
You mean on the whole?
Here's an experiment I want you to do. Go into a custom game. When the game starts, walk into the middle of the lane, where the minions are going to walk. As they move around you, they are moving their hotboxes out of the way of your hitbox. Watch as they take a massive detour around you, because hitboxes are a lot bigger than you think they are.
Afterward, pretend those minions are skillshots, and you will see why are hit by things you think you shouldn't be.
