How are new players suppose to play the game

When there are currently no support champions in the Free Rotation? Cho gath maybe?

Riot makes it hard enough to get a single champion, the least they could do is make sure every role is covered in the free rotation

Genuinely new players don’t give a shit about who goes typically where though.

Master Yi is best played duo top lane with a Warwick.

Don't give away the meta to challengers

I remember Darius - Garen botlanes being a thing for ages when I was levelling up on EUNE during S3. I played Sona support top with Shyvana and you'd be reported if you even looked at Smite. Good times.

Accounts that are completely new (under level 11) actually use a different rotation of free champs. Right now both Morg and Nami are part of it.

Lol erm... that’s on you xD. Just grind levels and actually buy supports if ur craving them. Watch vids of people playing them if ur impatient for the rotations. Riot generally incorporates ~3 supports for each rotation. This week was an exception as you can see from this: https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/champions-skins/free-rotation

that's like your faulth ma guy.

also checking your op.gg it's a lie.

Rakan is a support. Teemo, Singed, Brand, Trundle and sion can all be played support.

This account is permabanned. This isn't the account i play on

Well.... ignore the second part of my comment then, the first part still goes tho.

Then why do you care what new players do or don't go through?

Kinda sounds like you don't - permabanned players are not new players, but they tend to be players with chips on their shoulder :)

soraka is 450be. janna is 1350. there is no excuse to not own a few supports.

Provided it's level 11, it does not take long to get to level 12. In fact you can easily get to 12 on a brand new account in 3 or 4 days just playing only 3 or 4 bot games a day. You will not have a lot of BE at this point either and will barely have any champion pool.

You get some free champions for the first few levels. I'm not sure what champs there are, and if you get any supports for free though.

yes if you buy free money from your paid hobby you can spend it so those free champs are permanent

Because really new players shouldn't really care about what role they play. They should focuse on learning the actual game first

I've played support yorick completely seriously with success, pseudo-cc that they can't spellshield is pretty decent, and maiden allows for pretty disgusting damage if they don't respect her.

New players necessarily have brand (it's given to them at level 4) who works. I guess they could use ashe (given at level 2) too.

If they're legit new players though, they're probably not really playing with a meta anyway, so it ends up being a matter of what pick is best suited to support ww 'adc' since thats how it goes at early levels.

I love me some pseudo-tank ashe support with PTA-Triumph-Alacrity-Coupe-Fount of Life-Rejuvanation and buying an item 3504 so that anyone who aa anyone I hit gets healed and have a permanent ardent buff.

There are supports for 450.

The rioter who does the schedule also said it was a mixup

what

I don't think it's good idea to have high skill caps Thresh Bard in low levels

I'd recommend as a new player. Picking anyting and trying the buddy system. Simply follow another player around, do what they do every match. Until you feel comfortable doing otherwise. Str. in no.

Serika Zero1 votes

ha haha hahaha as if new players will "support" properly

might as well just give them all yasuo and have the same result

M00ndanc31 votes

Dude don't diss the Cho'gath support.

I may have to play safe early but once I get a few items its almost imposible to kill my carry if im paying attention. [poppy-wink]

notice me Sin pi1 votes

its better that supports dont show up in new players' games; support is a role that relies on enabling other players in the team, who also would be new players themselves. It's unlikely tho not impossible that new players would actually learn what it takes to support by playing games trying to enable another inexperienced player.

Mcsquzzy1 votes

preferably with a friend that can teach them/help with the obscene amounts of smurfs

Profirix1 votes

Cho'Gath support is a real thing. I have an insanely high win rate with it.

Saezio1 votes

how much BE did you get 1-32 wtf man buy soraka.

Dolivera1 votes

New players get Brand for free at like level 3 or something like that. If they want to learn support, they can just play Brand.

SanKakU1 votes

Heimerdinger used to be a support. Nasus got his E reworked, before that, it had flat armor reduction which made him very viable as a support substitute.

He still has a slow, Heimerdinger still has a stun. TF has a stun. Cho'gath has multiple slows and a stun but some of them are quite unreliable. Cassiopeia has her poison wall thing for zone control...yeah we're pretty much looking at support substitutes all around.
