Actually a lot of champions have more than one passive within their kit on their other skills. Like Darius has free armor pen on his E. It is not something unusual and exclusive for yas.

Rakan's: scales on some AP. He has Scaling MR (though nothing impressive). Cooldown gets reduced whenever interacting with enemy champions. He naturally builds a bit more tankiness than Yasuo, and builds more utility than Yasuo. This shield lasts forever until it is completely burnt through Yasuo: only base value. No MR scaling (One of two Melees that fall under this). Less tanky than Rakan when fully built. This shield only lasts a second or two after procing it

But Rakan usually doesn't build AP and even if he did how much would he need to get to Yasuo base numbers on 18 lvl? Rakan's on 18lvl is 254 while Yasuo is 510. Didn't Riot gave all champs scaling MR recently? Rakan isn't that much more tanky than Yasuo. The only HP items he builds is Sightstone and Redemption giving him 800HP. Yasuo build Frozen Mallet which is 700HP. Maybe if you take resistances into consideration but then Yasuo has his lifesteal

yasuo shield is 510 but is easily taken down by even 1 damage point. He has the weakest shield in the game, it's only good for any innocent dunce who tries to burst him while he has it.
Yasuo has no significant scaling MR, please look it up for yourself. it only increases by 8 from level 1 to 18. still basically free food for mages unless he counter builds.
Yasuo rarely builds Frozen Mallet, it is no default item on him
Yasuo only has really strong life steal IF he gets BT and MC on his build, which leaves him with 1 item slot left with PD, IE BT and MC with Berserkers Greaves or Tabi.

Ok, if your nick is Yasuo Main and you finish your post with "whatever you say I know better and you are wrong" which you do I won't even try to discuss with such person. You and everyone knows Yasuo has too much free stuff packed into him. With this sentence I will no longer reply to you as I see no point

There are plenty of kits with as much stuff as Yasuos. Yasuo is annoying, but not o.p. his low win rate at all ELOs is evidence of this.

A lot of champions have more than one passive. Darius, Ashe, Tryndamere, Quinn, Ekko. Fuck, Jhin has four (two on main, one on W, and one on E). Yasuo isn't alone in this case.

But of course, bitchers will bitch.

how his crit passive should work

scoring a critical strike on an enemy champion increases yasuo's crit chance equal to 0+lvl% for 5 seconds, this effect stacks and resets the duration

this makes a non 100% critical strike (from items) yasuo have some build up to have 100% crit in a fight which is also how the rest of his kit is designed

secondary passive is to prolong his survival in a fight

wind wall lets him block incoming damage to survive longer

dashes help him get to his target and dodge skill shots to survive longer

R gets him to his target and resets his shield to survive longer

the change would make him keep his current power level but have to build up to it in a fight instead of running in with endless crits with only 1-2 crit items at the very start of a fight, unless he builds more crit items, which make him squishier than his current 1-2 crit items then bruiser build.
