when people will stop picking wrong runes?
when?
when?
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves.
Right now we're in a time of experimentation. Not everyone listens to what the pros think, or follow guides on what is best, some need to get their hands dirty and experience it themselves.
Some people need to know why and how something works, rather than simply knowing if it does. Experimenting has already been dying down for a while now, and when the new season starts it's likely to become very rare.

i hope you are right but i just want zed players to pick ultimate hat instead of coup de grace , yea both are ok, but it makes me CRY because ultimate hat is better for zed :V HEEEELP JG, And MID in BOT ( I DONT HAVE ULT )
also Croup de grace is kinda made for many attacks champions not just 1 hit ( CRYING )
It works on all damage, from auto attacks to AP burst. Coup De Grace is really for anyone who either does consistent damage or has a kit that saves a large amount of burst for the end of their combo.
You might be thinking of Cut Down, which is almost exclusively made for auto attack champions.
Is it better? On paper it might be, but in practice there are many decisions that come down to individual play style rather than raw statistical power.
Back in the old rune system most scaling runes were jokes, but I still went with full scaling pages. I played champions that didn't have great early games, so instead of trying to boost the early game with runes I doubled down on it and adapted my play to being weak early. I played for the mid game, and since my runes started passing my opponent in power around level 6-7 I was able to surprise many opponents with my level 6 power spike.
If someone has difficulty judging when an enemy will die with Zed's ultimate I could easily see a rune that boosts damage on low health targets being very good on them. It's not the most optimal option for Zed, sure, but it has it's specific purpose.
Isn't part of the point of their changing and trying to balance it so there is no 'one right option' for a champion? Like I get Grasp of Undying not working on everyone, but I thought they wanted it more flexible than "You take these 5 things always or you're weak."
When build websites update with win statistics for different rune builds with the champions.
Most people don't give a fuck about actually experimenting, so once someone tells them the "right" choice, they will listen just to avoid having to actually make a decision or think about what to do.
What are you talking about. Like picking revitalise on any health cost champion? Where the ability constantly drains your health

Drains my health? Nah you have to play more games i actually i don't look in players Runes, But when i do i regret i did. like picking press the attack on rammus?
If Rammus gets three attacks in on someone all of his damage is boosted by 12%. If he can reliably get all three attacks down it's not exactly a bad option against auto-attack heavy teams. It might not be optimal, but you can see why someone would test it.
This is never gonna happen! :'<
