Dominion as a Featured Game Mode

Definitely Not Dominion is a slap in the face to Dominion veterans. It's worse at capturing the feel of Dominion than Ascension is, and it doesn't feel all that fun to play (in my opinion).

I've largely quit LoL due to the removal of Dominion. Perhaps I'll get back some day, perhaps not. Dominion as a Featured Game Mode would have me play the game once in a while, at least. It is, in my opinion, much better than Definitely Not Dominion.

My suggestion: Keep Definitely Not Dominion for those who like it, but add Dominion to the queue as well. This way, Dominion veterans will be slightly happier (although likely still bitter that they can only play their favorite game mode once in a while), and people who like Definitely Not Dominion (not sure how many there are, I've seen maybe one or two that I know that liked it) will also be happy.

Also, when you're add it, add URF Dominion as a Featured Game Mode, it's a blast, I've played hundreds of custom URF Dominion games and it's some of the best times I've had playing LoL. Maybe experiment with URF Ascension and URF Definitely Not Dominion as well? Perhaps URF would make Definitely Not Dominion fun, who knows?

I agree. Some of the changes made for DNDominion were misguided. Also URF Dominion is amazing.

as someone with far more than 3k dominion games i wholeheartedly agree here, Definitly-not-Dominion is just what it says: definitly not Dominion. It´s a horrible, snowbally gamemode that has absolutly nothing in common with the original Dominion map.

There's nothing quite like the dynamic of the bot lane in Dominion. It's like there was 2 matches in one. If you won bot you could save a potential losing game top. Bot lane 1v1 opened up way more champion viability and playstyles. Even against strong bot laners you could almost always find a counter in your team who could at least go in full defense mode, if they were willing to do it. And of course there was always the fun of ganking in bot lane to spice things up and give your team an opening. The crystals in DND can't compare and seem to really contribute to snowbally games. Without 2 players in the bot lane it DND becomes very death matchy and it's really hard to find an opening when your team gets behind. In Dominion you would see the lead often drastically change during the match and huge comebacks happened pretty often. In DND death timers are so short backcapping is rarely of any use, while in Dominion it could be used to great and annoying effect. It's an ok mode, but it's definitely not Dominion.

I tried out DND the first time and I couldn't get into it. A major thing was knowing it's temporary, so I felt, why bother? But there was also the fact that it wasn't quite the mode I loved and still want to play. If the original dominion came back, I would likely play for the times it's up. URF dom would also be a lot of fun

They could just have a cycle of RGM in which they have the normal games but on urf.

DND was made cause FGM are meant to be FASTER then FAST. Dom could last a decent amount of time sometimes so that's why they made DND instead so that it made sure to go fast.
