Pretty obvious it was Yi, especially since he has had quite a few overpowered states lately.

Yi during Release Feral Flare and the recent Bruiser build was pretty broken, while Katarina hasnt had her moment to shine outside of Bronze in a pretty long time.

If anything, i am more surprised at Twitch being third, but i guess his low popularity helps since most people that play him actually know the champion and his Ult is really good.

the crazy part is

yi is incredibly popular. high playrate
kat twitch low playrates, so people picking them know the champion very well leading to the higher penta rate
still yi is higher than all of them even tho hes so popular

conclusion yi is build for pentas and everyone is getting pentas left n right with him

also kat getting pentas isnt that suprising when i realize that if kats team is WINNING, then katarina is in a easy state to get pentas due to kit design. and kat has a 50% winrate meaning 50% of games are a good ground for kat to get a penta

i get a pentakill with yi 1 out of every 10 games lol

much harder with kat

but i understand the kat picks. definite 1 and 2

also. i wonder if thats "per match" as in it counts games where yi is not played. because he is banned a ton while kat isnt

it would seriously mess up the stats if it counts matches where yi is not being played, meaning yi's real pentakill rate is much higher

Surprised at Kat tho. Knew she would be up there but didn't think 2nd considering how easily she gets shut down by any form of cc. Can we separate these by elo? Kat can easily get pentas in bronze but above I doubt she would since anything stops her.

Also surprised at twitch being #3. All the twitches I've seen whether on my team or enemy always suck. THATS the biggest surprise o.o
