So they're testing out a version of Blood Boil that essentially gives Deathcap passive.
Not to mention Q giving up to 55 (+25% AP) on hit damage.
I'm sure this will turn out completely fine.

Illâoi Evê Siôn5 votesI like the Blood Boil change because it allows him to Support Mages, it doesn't affect Guardian Nunu on his own, and its power is pretty well gated (percentage with a cap scaling with rank on an ability you can't really max second in most cases). I don't like the Consume changes because they're just pure bonus damage without Gameplay.
Maybe if he only got the bonus damage when eating enemy monsters? Still, not so great. I would rather they gave his ult damage over time during the channel so it can proc Aerie and Arcane Comet.

Shadow Hazard1 votesI like it. It means that it is now possible to put APC's in the bot lane even more successfully.
Ziggs already had a history of being viable. AD kennen was viable but this could allow for an AS+AP kennen bot lane. Mord has some pretty notable AP scalings. It may be considered viable to take lulu as the bot carry role, azir. And i am sure quite a few other APC champs could be made viable with nunu if this goes through.
Outside of nunu, there are already a many marksman with some AP scalings as well as many having a history of possible viability of building hybrid with rageblade. Kog, varus are the top 2 off the top of my head. Outside of that he could empower the marksmen in the early levels who build dring starts viably in the past like jihn and mf.
Outside of this I wish/hope that riot does something that allow supports to empower their AP comrades also instead of only the marksman.
Rebel Fox1 votesI mean, honestly it is pretty good. Nunu is in a place where it feels like you can jungle, but outside of that you are exclusively an ADC buffer and slow machine. This creates an AP Bruiser, who also has some added benefit to mages. Now it feels more well rounded to play. It isn't like 55 plus 25% of your AP is that huge of a bonus unless you build full AP. And since it is all in Auto attacks you have to get very close. 120 AP maximum is a lot, but most champion that need the AP don't use much AS, and vice versa. Only really Azir, TF, Ziggs, ect really will use both, and many of those champions are currently underpowered or just on power.
