okay, this is a mini ran't aboout certaint champs, mainly master yi, vayne, and katarina(not tryin to ffend anyone it's just.. annoying) pretty much, every time someone complains about one of these 3 champs, someone tells them to cc them, what if you don't have cc? also cc counters every champ in the game ._. SOOOOOOOOO yi: q does damage and makes him invinicble, w, bs heal, E, bs true damage, ult meh not much to say there.

katarina: proceeds to roll face on keyboard vayne: 3 shots anyone that isn't ull armor tank, oh wait, even more true damage sorry for typo's

huh, I guess i forgot to tell you that I almost always play blind pick.

If you don't have CC, that's your team's fault and you deserve whatever happens. Yes, CC counters every champion in the game. No, it does not counter them all equally. Super fragile glass-cannons like said champions you listed will instantly melt and die if they get CC'd. Tanks will just laugh at you and absorb it while wondering why you wasted it on them and not the squishy damage-dealing carries.

Idk, getting CC locked as a tank usually gets frustrating because you can't move and death doesn't come fast enough to end it.

If your team doesn't have CC, then you fucked up horribly in champion select and are being punished for such idiocy.

It counters them to different degrees.

Dr. Mundo and Olaf couldn't care less about you CCing them (nor will most tanks). Quite frankly, they will be happy that they are eating all of the CC so that their allies are left unaffected.

Meanwhile, squishy carries who rely on their mobility or channeled abilities will be screwed if any CC hits them (assuming competent follow-up).

actually if you go full AD Vayne w crit you can shave it down to one or two hits against squishies

all those champs scale into late game, so if you dont destroy them early-mid game, you're gunna have a bad time. also Sejuani Amumu Nautilus are great cc tanks that can blow them up if they try anything.

Pretty much what happens is champ select is where you really counter someone.

Master yi should NEVER be picked in the first half of champ select.

Lets say the enemy team locks in Ekko Fiora Jhin

You know their top is fiora, Jg/mid is ekko and adc is jhin.

At this point you can probably get away with katarina or Yi.

Supports are the ones that have a shit ton of CC so someone like Alistar or Janna

Could rock you.

Not the best example but

yeah you gotta remember, Yi and katarina are champs that PUNISH you for not having CC. So champ select is where its at.

I mainly play blind pick solo que, every team will almost always have cc in it, it's just.... ughhh i don't know theres something about those champs that make me angry (theres a lot more champs that make me salty but i'm not longer angry) just, as a support main, vayne as the bane of me and my team katarina is just a no skill champ( pretty much the same for yi) and every game we have an enemy yi, he still gets fed ojne way or another, if i had gotten into late game as shyvanna(check my match history) i would've been able to kill him, but it ended too quickly.

Yi is allowed to 3 shot your ADC while being beefy enough to not get one shot because he is weak to CC.

People have to realize this isn't healthy design.

First of all, you are wrong. He will die in a second or less if he gets CC'd by an intelligent team. He will also not 3-shot the ADC without being fed unless the ADC is just retarded.

it just seems like, every game we have an enemy yi, they get fed no matter what (we usually beat their yi late game) but early game is a nightmare, and if you haven't lost by late game, then you'll have a chance.

Yi is a lategame carry. He shouldn't be a problem in early and more stoppable in late.

That still makes no sense, your team is making the decision to not go with CC of any kind. I don't see what blind pick has to do with this.

Blind pick is still no excuse to not take CC. You don't need to see who is on the enemy team to bring CC, it's a mandatory thing.

That's not actually true. While CC theoretically does the same thing to anyone, the larger effect will be different depending on what sort of champion they are. If you're in a teamfight and you CC the tank, the tank is doing their job. You are wasting important cooldowns hitting the tank instead of the ADC/midlaner. If you CC the mid/ADC, you can usually kill them quickly with little retaliation and go on to win the fight since the enemy team is missing a lot of damage output.
