ADCs rushing Static Shiv?

After being demoted (again), I've been 1-1 in my g2 series twice, and had the third game ruined by an ADC I'm supporting blow their gold lead by rushing a Static Shiv for their first item. The first time, I didn't realize it until after the item was completed. The second time, however, I was pauing closer attention because I didn't want something like that to happen again, and I saw the Jinx coming back with an Avarice Blade. I told her, "Jinx, please don't rush a static shiv, save for a bf, you're not going to have damage otherwise, man.." She doesn't say a word. Next time she backs, she buys her attack speed boots.. By now she's lost all her pressure in the lane. Still she presses on and finishes the fucking shiv, after the game is completely out of hand.. Is there some Korean, rush static shiv on Jinx and Miss Fortune strategy I haven't heard of? So sick of this bullshit.. I don't want to be carried, I just want a decent team. Fuck Riot..

That is a noob trap going attack speed first. Who cares if you attack 100 times for 10 damage when you could attack 5 times for 300.

/facepalm This is about adc's for one and for two I have yet to see an ADC rush a item 1043 over a item 3144.

Most ADCs really should rush either a IE, a BORK, or a TF if you are a ranged caster like Corki. BT used to be a popular rush item, but I don't see that happening anymore. Ez and Furgot he was an ADC rush a manamune, but they are weird like that. I think if ER was given an early mana component, some ADCs might rush that, but as is, not worth.

It's kind of funny, I don't ADC must but when I do, I'll get a PD or TF second/third based on who I'm playing but virtually never a SS.

Is there some Korean, rush static shiv on Jinx and Miss Fortune strategy I haven't heard of?

Jinx needs an IE first as does MF. Jinx doesn't really need a shiv (rockets will clear waves) and IMO MF does better with either a PD or a TF than a shiv.

Exactly.. I just don't understand why (especially) Jinx wouldn't even acknowledge me when I said to go for a bf instead of a shiv.. Didn't even say it in a toxic way for once, my spirit was that fuckin broken when I saw the avarice blade..

I once got a penta with double dorans, statikk and pickaxe - it was with Vayne vs Vayne who rushed BORK. It's ok item, if the RNG gods are with you. Nowadays I play with 10 % Crit chance, 13,5 % AS + 5 armor and rush IE for even more RNG...

Also you were vayne who gains a lot of damage just from attack speed.

Statikk rush on MF feels good because you can wind it up quickly with your passive and it prove off your q. Not really sure why Jinx would.

Phantom Dancer is better. It works better with her passive anyways on top of the passive.

statikk shiv is exclusively for early game and waveclear, it is hilarouisly outdamaged by phantom dance phantom dancer is better in 80% of situations

The only people who can sort of get away with rushing straight up attack speed first are people like vayne , twitch, kalista and (sort of but not really) miss fortune. Their kits have things built into them that make attack speed more beneficial to them than other carries; however as others have said if you want attack speed on a first item , botrk is the better choice(or hurricane if your kali).

So as to why people rush statik? Inexperience, ignorance or trolling really.
