Spread the Good News of Pip

A week ago, I sent in a support ticket calling out a person who I felt had a very offensive summoner name. The last time I sent in a ticket, I got horrible, horrible, horrible, copy-paste service that didn't even try to address my actual ticket. I didn't expect much from this ticket either. But WOW! Complete 180 degrees of a difference, all thanks to one man: Pip.

This guy addressed every single one of my points in his first post. He used some copy-paste stuff where it would appropriately address a concern, and free-styled for other "more complicated" points. Then I replied, and he actually did the same thing a second time! Pip was consistent and thorough, and he was just so completely different from the other two people who handled the previous ticket. I was genuinely happy with the service, and I let him know in the ticket, in the e-mail survey, and in the closed ticket rating.

I don't know if you're out there Pip, but I wanted to publicly thank you for S+ service. As I told you in the ticket that responding to tickets like you did is really valuable and important and that you made a difference (but unfortunately, your just as pleasant colleague Shorty Peewee responded in your place and the ticket closed, so I wanted to say it again).

rito, do whatever you need to do to keep Pip on your support team. Any reds that see this, pass on my praises to him. People I AM SERIOUS! FILL HIS CUBICLE WITH CANDY AND BOOZE AND STRIPPERS. Pip is awesome. Make it happen.

I had a great experience with Riot Games Player Support when I sent in a ticket to get Unchained Alistar when I had subscribed to Youtube but had not gotten the skin, despite all my efforts to redeem the skin. The ticket was addressed within a few hours, and I woke up the next day to Alistar and said skin on my account, along with a few encouraging words in the email I was sent back. It felt really great, and I'd like to thank Blackfly for that. Pip sounds like a really good guy too, and I'm glad he made your day. I don't think that Player Support gets as much rep as it should. It's a really important part of Riot.

By default, any Rioter who doesn't copy paste generic responses deserves an award. I had this happen to me once - Thanks Penguyen, I love you!

A support tech that worked with rito back in like 2009-2010 was so good at his job that when I got other guys I'd just tell them to "Ask Shanks, he's done almost all my tickets" and then the next reply would always be about how Shanks fixed everything for me. He was so great at his job I sent him a picture of an American Flag and an Eagle with the caption "Shanks: A true american hero". There are a lot more requests today than back then, so its great to hear that support is still just as friendly as Shanks was. Hell, I wonder if he's still working with rito?

I found the old ticket where I uploaded my "Thanks Shanks" image so here it is in all its RED WHITE AND BLUE glory: http://i.imgur.com/WsP9IqH.jpg

Did the summoner get his account suspended?

You thank the guy but spell his company name wrong?

"You did a good job, Wally." /slap!
