As a support main

Let me just say, yes it can be your fault too. Don't circle jerk your role and always blame the ADC. If you bring no presence in lane standing behind your ADC while they have a very aggressive support making plays while you are standing around as soraka waiting to press w instead of activiely harassing with your Q and autos... You don't deserve to climb ELO. Even if you go 0-0-20, that doesn't mean you did well. Just because you didn't die doesn't mean you deserve to win. Make plays, apply pressure or lose or hope to get carried.

1: if I, as ADC, am showing no interest in fighting, because of power differences, lane positioning, or damage possibility differences (I.E. an Ashe/Bard lane against a Lucian/Morgana) Then it's your job to zone. Not poke, not Engage, just...play it safe and let me farm.

2: if I, as ADC, am capable, and built enough or ahead enough, to get an advantageous position within a fight, but not positioned closely enough to support your engage, probably shouldn't do it.

3: If I, as Support, have kept you safe all lane, and see that we have an Advantage, and press it, you, as ADC, are not REQUIRED to follow up on bad engages.

4: It is, however, frustrating when an ADC refuses to follow up on an Engage that's at a good time and place in lane.
