I feel like there is a way to address 4v5s without breaking the game. Hear me out.

Everyone and their mom has at somepoint dealt with a 4v5. It sucks ass i fucking hate it and its a huge waste of your time and you also lose lp for it.(For most peoole winning 2 games in a row and then getting an afk in a 4v5 and losing will put you at maybe +10 lp so basically 3 games with very little results) If somebody ragequits for an extended period of time, and the other team wins, give them that lp by all means. But it should be very possible to just flat line the team that has a missing player. Giving them 0 lp so at least it feels fair. And the common argument i see in this is "Well someone is just gonna abuse it" First off, people that leave games get punished so like it wouldnt really be something people would want to do Secondly, The person who left receives a full match loss and the rest of the team remains at a 0 lp gain/loss. Seems 1) entirely favorable to the team who dealt with said dick wad and 2) would encourage players to at the very least, not go afk (I havent quite worked out the methods in punishing people who intentionally feed tho :P) And lastly, generally i dont think people are gonna be like "well i want the enemy team to get lp and i wanna lose mine in its place. And if they DO think like that, so be it, they can lose 20 lp and their team wont have to get penalized.

I wanna know if this sounds like a bad idea or not. Because generally it would take a lot of the actual cancer that is playing 4v5s, out of the equation.

Win trading legit only happens in high elo. And also it wouldnt make it worse, specifically because the person who loses lose lp, the rest of the team flats at 0 gain/loss

none of what you've said detracts from the fact that high elo would be unplayable with your changes.

none of what you said has done anything to disprove my point. And since afks / rqs are more often than not in low elo, make it a low elo thing, problem solved.

the challengers will start smurfing, then gm's, then masters, then diamonds, then plats and, whoops the whole ladder is now more smurf infested than before and boosting sites get to sell a more cost friendly service.

This seems like a great idea to stop people from leaving the game, and I would love to see it implemented in the game, the only issue that I can see would be is someone just afks at base and moves around every so often to avoid being kicked. Other than that, its a great idea.

If Duo Queue didn't exist, then it is an ok idea.

The problem is that if you are losing, 1 person dcing can benefit 4 other people. Riot doesn't want people dcing, so its very difficult to justify rewarding anybody in a dc instance.

*I'll say this, I don't have issues with quiting. I come from SC2 background, where its BM to wait until every building gets destroyed. Don't get me wrong, there are games that are close and go down to the wire, but they are few and far between. When someone is beating you, you type 'GG' and go on to the next game. I'm very confused when a laner goes 0/9 yet teammates want to continue. The enemy top laner did what he needed to to dominate the game. Unless your also super fed to counteract, why not go to the next game rather than watch your team get destroyed for 5-15 minutes?

It seems like most league players are masochists that absolutely need to witness their nexus explode. Something I don't understand about this game. :/
