I still play talon every now and then, but he is certainly not my main, but that is something that has disappointed me for ages. Because thematically he is probably my second favourite in the game (resident sand emperor is number one sorry).
So what this rework can potentially do for me is completely remove any negative feelings I have when playing Talon. Now I'm not saying this is what EVERY player hyped for Talon will be feeling, but I'm sure there'd be others like me.

What you described is actually pretty accurate to how I feel about him atm, but it is more a case of him just not being a a good stop atm moreso than the bored of using his kit, even tho it does apply here.
I have been begging Riot to rework or update Talon in significant ways since S3. And now it seem me and many others prayers have been answered. I just hope that whatever they do to him makes him actually worth using and not just a gimmick. And also not something so op that he becomes FotM again and i can not only never play him, but he gets nerfed into the ground.

Imagine if Toyota said they would release a "fast car" and everyone started to preorder it even though everything about the car (specs, model, design) hasn't been released. No person in their right mind would do that.

SlntReaper1 votesIt's kind of premature to do something like this. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon for Talon. It's like Illaoi. People got really excited and bought her, but she ended up being not the best champion. Or Kindred, who got nerfed to the ground.
