Reached Plat, AMA
Just got Platinum today after starting this season in Silver II (Gold III in Season 4), I have been in every division from Bronze IV to Plat V since I started ranked at the end of Season 3. Ask me what you wanna know.

Lol sorry man...I got placed in Bronze III after my very first 10 ranked games in which I had a record of 2-8. I dropped as low as Bronze IV 7 LP but then I took a break from ranked and only played normals for a couple months and when I came back I wasn't bad enought anymore to get demoted and get a taste of the legendary Bronze V.

I used Wukong in Season 3 to get from Bronze IV to Bronze I, in Season 4 I mainly played Warwick in Silver and Irelia to get to Gold, this year I have been maining Malzahar. I can play all 5 roles without feeding, my strongest role is probably jungle though and I don't like playing adc cause its hard to be reliant on your team.
As for pick bans in different tiers, back when I was Bronze I remember getting flamed the whole game after not having banned Amumu and Malphite and the enemy firstpicked those 2. However the meta changed, so I don't think Bronze players still ban those 2 guys, from my experience there is no significant difference in bans from Bronze to Plat, it just depends on meta, even in high Gold you see Blitzcrank bans.

No idea. Climbing in ranked is alot about balance I guess since you need to play the champs who are op. For example Nunu is completely broken atm and if you wanna climb fast I suggest you pick him up.
