I recommend the item 3065 more than item 3083 , since you can heal your allies & yourself better, cooldowns, & some yummy MR. Getting Warmog would only hurt you more.

cause your heal takes 10% of your total health. The more health you have the greater amount of current health you need to cast Q.

I meant taking it for all the health regen, I just love watching raka regenerate, but I understand it 10% of your health, thanks for clarity.

Like Kchaosrei said, you will just hurt yourself even more from constantly healing your allies. Just the item 3065 is good enough. Usually before , I have to grab item 3174 item 3504 item 2049 first, so there isn't time to be grabbing pure chunk of Hp like item 3083

Surprisingly, Tanky Raka actually works if you are going for dedicated heal bot. item 3065 + item 3083 and a little time out of combat and you can definitely see good results. Pretty bad at burst healing, though.

I just keep getting health pots throughout the game lol. Thinking flask might be a very good option over items that give HP.

Do not get warmogs. With sight stone and most support items giving health, your shooting your self in the foot. The more health you have the more expensive the heal costs to cast. If you have 3000 health heal takes 300. If you for some reason mange to get to 4000 heal takes 400 per cast. This can screw you over if you took some AOE hits. The sweet spot is around 2700 to 3000 max health.

Spirit visage is a way better than warmogs. Most AOE is magic damage. Plus your amping your Q heals and ults for your self. ALSO CDR

The limited experience I have with the new Soraka, it's ok. I think AP or utility Soraka is better overall since you can heal up(%hp) about as quickly, if not faster, with hp regen runes and a flask.

pro players don't buy hp items. gikomekai buy mickael crucible, frozen heart, guardian angel, zhonya with rabaddon and regen /hp rune. he's challenger tiers, he said soraka is actually op with the right rune and crucible (soraka can heal herself with crucible)
