Unlike most I am actually enjoying the current meta

(NOTE: im an adc/mid assain main if i fill its almost always a bruiser so that's the perspective i am writing this from)

I started playing in season 3 and started ranked in season 4 and this preseason is the first time ive felt like individual skill actually matters. in past seasons the game was

  1. pretty much determined at champ select or
  2. it didn't really matter how fed you got there were so many safety nets and delayed power spikes it was almost impossible to snowball and solo carry this pre season is not perfect (tanks/bruisers feel super strong with lw and botrk nerfs) but at least as an adc or mid or really any position if i mange to dominate my lane it translates to the rest of the game. before you could destroy your lane but instead of making you feel strong it just made the other laner weak now after picking up 2-4 solo kills and a cs advantage i can actually do damage and be useful in team fights beyond just pushing towers.

Now this pre-season is not perfect, but those who are complaining about overly snowballing champs; that's always existed since i started there will always be some super snow bally champ, but tbh these champs are usually pub stompers and in ranked were they can be counter picked are much less likely to run over a team and 1v5

I actually enjoy the current meta quite a bit too, but their a few balance problems that really need to be balanced.

Kog'Maw is trash. The amount of things they took away from to make him even more immobile while actually losing damage just so he could look cool auto-attacking has absolutely destroyed that champions usefulness. He needs major buffs.

Urgot is a marksman, and needs to be fixed in order for it to be a "marksman" season.

Corki is actually pretty good with one problem. His Empowered W needs to either do its damage up front as burst or NOT knock people out of its own damage. That mechanic is retarded.

Assassins don't need buffs.

Vaynes range needs to be knocked down a tad (525 or 500ish)

Red trinket needs to be fixed to actually SEE stealth again, right now it is literally impossible to click on a stealthed champion with out a pink ward. Which means someone on your team has to forgo an entire item slot just to properly fight against stealth.

Other than that, I really have no complaints.
