Of the top 15 gameplay posts in my feed, 8 of them are complaining about the Akali rework and her new “obscured” mechanic, ALL of which have a personal attack on CertainlyT within the post itself or in the top comments.
Is it any wonder Rioters shy away from posting or commenting here? Honestly, the gameplay boards have some of the worst circlejerk of any online community.
Ya Gameplay is pretty bad. People complain about GD being bad, but this place is a million times worse.
100% agree with you, the personal attacks and general hatred of certainlyT is disgusting and if i was a dev I wouldn't interact with the community either, look at how they treat anyone who does interact with them... with meddler and ghostcrawler also being hated

My problems are actually that none of these people thought: "I wonder if there's a thread on this already", and they are all apparently Akali mains with 4 years experience on a champion that has not been updated yet.
The personal attacks are just icing on the cake.

They ignore the boards because they really can't handle criticism.

Oh hey, it's one of these threads. The one that rags about how Gameplay is bad for behaving just like any feedback section in a videogame forum. The one that thinks criticism is the literal devil, and how people whose job is to take feedback are justified in ignoring the space on the official site they've dedicated to it. The one that pretends Boards are the only space on the internet where players show dissatisfaction with League or Riot. The one that complains about Boards being a circlejerk, while simultaneously participating in the exact same hive-mind behavior with false airs of contrarianism. Yep, we definitely needed one more of these threads, because clearly this is such a novel and refreshing angle that will contribute positively to... something.

But yeah, if you want to talk about the Boards, go to Discuss the Boards. This thread discusses the Gameplay sub-Board, but does not actually discuss gameplay, and exists purely to farm upvotes off of the resident anti-Boards circlejerk, which for some reason still appears to be convinced that they're unique, oppressed, and standing up for some grand cause. If nothing else, those Akali threads actually discuss gameplay, so while they are definitely full of toxic behavior, at least they contribute something. This thread, by contrast, contributes nothing, and does not even belong in this space. In other words, OP's thread here is worse than the toxic threads it claims to criticize.

I made a post at noon today.. just went to check the responses on it a few minutes ago.. and it is buried so far down that no one is going to see it.. Pretty important post I feel too.
