PSA: If you're an ADC, you build Infinity Edge

Unless you're playing Ezreal or Corki, you ALWAYS build Infinity Edge as an ADC. Peroid.

Wanted to make sure everyone knows this, since apparently my Vayne last game didn't.

Miss Fortune and Lucien would like a word with you about that.

Also ADCs who are very behind, or taking heavy poke can easily justify building some type of life steal item or putting off an infinity edge till much later in the game as well.

Also not to long ago Vayne used to build BOTRK/Statikk/armor pen before every building into an IE, which tended to be a last item.

Just pointing out that no it isn't always a "build this period" situation. Game states change, some champs can in fact build differently based on the situation, and in many cases it is the right choice to do so.

EDIT--And looking at your last game is looked like your Vayne was trying to build a "I would like to not die to Vi/Rakan lockdown" and went with the BT shield and hyper sustain with BOTRK/BT/Mercurial. Better option would of been to trade out that BT for Guardian Angle and if she got to capping out on gold I could see selling the BOTRK for IE late game, but early game it gave her very solid dueling power which she would need going against a Cait/Rakan lane that can either push her in and poke, or just hard engage and kill her.

MissFortune Lucian depends if they want to late game (crit build) or the mid game ( item 3147 item 3071 build) since games apparently are much shorter in higher elos it seems like most of them would rather opt for the ladder

KogMaw doesn't build it period nor have i've seen Kalista build one.

i couldn't only really see that argument on champions like Ashe Jhin and such because they have crit built into their kits already and that makes item 3031 a very efficient item.

Kalista doesn't build IE normally, Miss Fortune doesn't build IE. KogMaw doesn't. Not everyone builds it btw, and certainly not everyone builds it early on.

But... Corki almost always builds IE. item 3078 item 3020 item 3094 item 3031 item 3087 item 3139 for example.

When playing Kog'Maw I usually prefer item 3508 as a 4th item over item 3031 . 5th item excluding boots is usually something like item 3022 item 3026 item 3157 so there's no space.
