Yes I just lost to a team with Riven and I'm a salty kid about it

Because she's broken and op and the perfect definition of unfun

I was the ADC in the game I don't have a problem laning versus her

The lane phase is only part of the game.

That's exactly my point.

Is it? You called her broken and OP. You don't seem to understand fighting her post-lane phase, and I'm saying we would welcome you if you decided to join the people who know how to deal with her over the entire course of the game.

I do. The four random people I'm matched with don't.

That's a knowledge problem then, not a power problem.

She's already being changed.

All you can do is wait it out.

The changes are experimental, and will actually make Riven less fun to play against because they're lowering her skill requirement with them.

They're not going to go through.

Is there a source confirming that they aren't going through with the changes?

No, but if they do go through, and Riven becomes top lane Mordekaiser, I'm going to laugh really hard at everyone who complained about her before.

If the new Riven is kept viable she will actually be an oppressive, simple to play champion.

No, the changes make animation cancelling/weaving in aa's between spells more important, which is generally the most prominent difference between good rivens and mediocre/bad ones.

Nope, if you want to cancel your r animation youll lose damage, thats pretty much what you want to avoid next patch. It makes her easier to play because she simply gets a damage buff for using her abilities on you and makes her snowball harder when she gets lead, she doesnt have to think anymore if she wants to use more spells to actually cancel her ultimate animation because riot takes the decision from you and simply buffs her stats for it. Riven players after the next patch will have less viable options, it makes her simpler.

Hm :/ Honestly, when I think of animation canceling the first thing that comes to my mind is learning how to properly aa, cancel aa animation with q, cancel q animation with movement command, then cancel movement command with another aa, all at a decent speed so you can weave aa's between spells more easily, I easily forget the practice of canceling her ability animations with other abilities :/
