no summoner spells

the more you add stuffs like items, masteries,runes or summoner spells, the harder it is to balance a game. For example season 4 jax early game was better due to teleport having a reduced cd on towers, which allowed him to survive in early game and become a monster in late game.

An immobile champion is supposed to be immobile, if you catch him you can kill him easily and that balances the champ, but hey there is flash, and every 5 min or 255 seconds thanks to the masteries he can escape you and if flash is up during the last teamfight that can makes you losing the game.

One of the thing i like in dota2 is that you have none of the thing above, so it's really easy to guess the power of an enemy, until he builds items, like when you gank sniper you KNOW that he can't escape you.

"but if you remove flash, there will be a lot of imbalance you need to correct". i played on NA with a smurf, none had flash (because you need to be lvl 8 to have it) and it was fine, i mean i didn't see imbalanced things. if you were to be right, then i agree i'm just pointing out my opinion on summoner spells.

No summoner spells. My opinion is that you should only be able to adquire summoner spells ingame, like how the new game mode is going to work - you buy "extra abilities" (summoner spells) while in game and according to your needs.

I'm not saying that you would be able to switch summoner spells every 10 seconds, but maybe I would chose to take Teleport + Heal for the first 10 minutes and then I would switch to Flash + Cleanse. There's a lot that can be done if they really invest in this concept. Here are few implementations that I came up with: 1 - Buy 1 (or 2) summoner spells for free at the start of the game and them those would be assigned to where the current ones are. During the game you'd then be able to buy/switch new spells in exchange for gold. 2 - Have a "token" currency that would allow you to adquire spells in exchange for those tokens. You only only be able to buy/switch spells every 20 minutes (so, in theory, only twice during a regular match). 3 - Have "item bound" spells, like they did with the experimental teleport boots. I'm saying that they should re-implement boots enchantements and bound spells to it instead of the old effects (teleport boots, flash boots, ghost boots, ...). This is literally the same as point 1 and this one would make the game stalemate or Tier 2 boots would become essential as core items (sorry Cassiopeia). I dislike this idea the most.

I'll say it again: there are a lot of creative ways they could implement this. The "bread and butter" Flash + [Teleport, Ignite, Teleport, Exhaust] is not interactive at all and I really dislike that system. I would also argue that 1 spell should be enough.

0 summoner spells, it might make the game actually easier to balance without flash. Right now there is only a few combos. Teleport/exhaust/ignite/smite and flash/flash/ghost/flash or vice versa.

I think Flash should be baked into the game, similar to recall, and then split up the summoners into categories ("Combat," "Utility," "Mobility," etc.) and let you choose any two summoners, but only one per category.

Then, add a few new summoners to flesh out the trees, and you have a lot more diversity in the game.

Riot has stated that the regret adding flash in, as the game has since been balanced around it, which ends up being the reason they CANNOT remove it.

2 summoner spells is fine as it is. some things like that extra flash before an enemy chases you, at 150 hp, into your tower, or the ignite to finish off an escaping enemy laner, is really effective. taking these things away are just disadvantages, to be honest. but if there were no summoner spells in the first place, you know we'd work around them. besides, flash, ghost, and heal has balanced the game too much already..

fucking tired of flash heal, plus character diversity would actually be a thing and healing supports would actually be a viable strat and be able to do their job.
