How is skarner's new passive going to affect in aram?

I love what you are changing with my main, Makes the game mode in summoners rift a whole lot more different just by having him as a presence. I also love how you are making him more AD. I hated how he had both. Though to me his ap worked alot better then his ad. Now that he is AD he's a much more of a bruiser tank then he should be.

However I remember one thing that has bugged me now that his passive is differant (his old passive is now with his e). How is his passive going to work in ARAMs?
