Delete Azir, Might as well

He just becomes emperor Urgot with Veigar syndrome.

He barely ever gets picked in LCS unlike Ahri, J4 or Gnar and you guys just have to nerf his range because he's a marksman with a range.

Shiphtur got destroyed by Xerath Bjergsen and only a few random team in EU has a success with him. Then overcry of nerf just flew around from there without any consideration of wanting to learn how to counter him.

And what seems to be very consistent is that he has negative KD in every match win/lose.

Instead of making his W AP ratio scales from +0.4 to +0.6 when max, you make him the most clunkiest buggiest champ ever existed with the radius nerf. I can't believe you rush out the giant nerf for bronzies cries so quickly when it comes to Azir when he's nowhere close to being successful to champs like Gnar, J4, Vi, Ahri, Kalista.

Oh oh, did you hear Dyrus interview on Gnar? "Gnar can do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING" ....hmmmm.

Just delete Azir, nobody will ever want to play him at this point other than fucking around in a non-rank mode.

Edit I guess there are too many bronzies and bot players during this time. Got 4 upvotes then down to -1.

Base on the comments, it must be.

Azir was ridiculous and needed nerfs

LMFAO "too many bronzies" says the gold player. Sorry to break it to you, but gold isn't exactly good ranking lmao. Def not good enough to be talking down to others of lower rankings (mostly new players). Being able to push buttons better doesn't make you smarter. Actually, your comments pretty much prove otherwise. So does the fact that you are judging a champ's win rate right after release/change.

And you down voting everyone because your salty for one of your champs getting nerfed isn't going to make it less true. Ya Syndra got nerfed I didn't bitch about it. Syndra has one of the lowest win rates in the game and I still manage to have an 80% winrate on her if I can do it you can too.

In all honesty he seems to be very problematic for them to balance. Don't take this as an insult on your champion but he has some problems that have become quite evident:

  1. His skill cap is ludicrous. This means the gap between an Azir in Silver and an Azir in LCS is insane, far moreso than the gap for most champs. It seems impossible to give him a good win rate in solo q without making him completely overpowered in LCS - you can vaguely see this from him getting such heavy nerfs at a 48% win rate. It sucks to have to choose between viable in solo q and viable in LCS, but he feels like a champ where that's necessity.

  2. People detest playing against him. For a champion to have a 48% win rate and maintain a 60% ban rate at the same time is really bad. Azir may be fun to play, but his gameplay pattern as the game's single biggest lane bully seems to frustrate. He seems like one of those champions that can't be viable without also being banned in a huge amount of games, so balancing is tough there. After all, what's the point for Azir mains in their champion being good if they can't play him?

I don't think they know what to do with him tbh.

Give Q AP scaling to compensate the base nerf.

Give W a solider range increase per rank. Keeping his early game weaker as he never ranks this first.

Everything else is fine.

Revert the range and put AP Ratio scaling on W. Done!

Azir is super strong right now

Uh, seems like he's one of the top-tier mid picks in American LCS right now. (Also Riot realized that Gnar is crazy and nerfed him.)

Yes yes, all bronzies and bot players come and downvote from 5 ups. Whoo!
