Not targeting any champ in particular

But Manaless champions should not have resets at all.

A Manaless champion is designed to be gated by their cooldowns. So they are generally given longer cooldowns than the average mana based champion. But when you give them resets that kind of defeats the idea of having a way to gate them.

I mean if your talking about the champion that auto losses every lane and the only thing about them is good team fighting because resets... yes they should have those resets or they would be completely useless Katarina "hey guys I used my 2 skills and now I'm stick in the middle of the team hehe"

"not targeting any champ in particular" - --- >>>>>>> Only one manaless champ has what he complains about

I don't know where you got this idea, but it's false, as evidenced by manaless champions who aren't designed to be gated by CDs. For example, Kat is designed to be gated around being a squishy melee who channels in the middle of the enemy team for up to 2.5 seconds at a time.

"X should not have Y" is a flawed way of thinking by itself.

Manaless champions are designed to not be gated by mana. What other thing they are gated by is not that obvious. Yasuo is gated by the need to be close to enemy, without a reliable way to disengage if the fight isn't going well Katarina is required to go in to do her job, with her combo being much less reliable than other assassins' combos. She has resets, but they are effectively useless in 1v1, which is how assassins usually prefer to fight early-mid game Garen can't "spam" his manaless abilities because his Q is his only gapclose/escape tool, his W has a huge cd and his E is melee

Also, I only found 2 manaless champions with resets: Katarina and Tryndamere, Again, Kata can't really "spam" her abilities and her resets only works in group skirmishes and teamfights while requiring her to kill someone first. And Tryndamere's "reset" is a cd decrease on his E whenever he autoattacks, its less of a "reset" and more of a "if he uses his E to escape, it has longer cd"

Sure. While we're at it let's turn Katarina into a ranged nuker who throws daggers that have an Aphelios' ult spread to them, and who can build Runaan's. Let's also make these daggers crit. and she can blink to whoever she's last damaged with these daggers in the last 3 seconds.

I think you might be onto something here...manaless champions would make for a great subclass for CertainlyT to makeover!

And we're gonna sit here and pretend champions have mana issues? LOL. I'd rather be a mana champ than a manaless/energy champ in the current state of the game with low cds right now.

So what are you going to give them as compensation?
