If you think you could do better, go ahead and try. Until then, stop criticizing someone who is hundreds of times better than you are.

top lane is the hardest lane, you're alone, and if you want to win lane it often means playing aggressive, in which case you will be ahead on cs and you will have denied your opponent a bit of cs as well, unfortunately they play back and now you're primed and ready for a gank.

top lane doesn't have a support to ward for him, so that means he has to spend time to buy and place his own wards which sets him back on gold.

all the difference in the world is decided by who dodges a skill shot here or there, and when is the jungler going to gank. and more often than not, dyrone plays lane bully aggressive which sets himself up for a gank.

but that isn't to say dyrus doesn't get first blood himself frequently. he frequently wins lane and well too.

Dyrus is usually up 30+ CS when he dies to ganks and is one of the few LCS players that will score solo kills without needing ignite. He also normally only pushes out of safety when his team is going to take one or two turrets/a dragon if the jungler/mid/support shows up top.

Sure, he could be better about surviving/not getting ganked like let's say ZionSpartan manages to do, but he isn't a bad player lol. He accrues such massive CS advantages and objective control to the point that he has the highest GPM of all top laners DESPITE having the lowest KDA. Most players that get 4 man dove several times every single game would not contribute even 25% of what Dyrus does the rest of the game.

I think a statistic they flashed during load screens summed it up well: Dyrus has the lowest KDA of any NA top laner, but also has the highest GPM. That's not a coincidence. Everything he does is for the team. If he ends up in a 1 v 4 gank and dies, his team wanted that to happen and he happened to be the bait. Dude's a legend as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, he does misplay occasionally. So does everyone. Bjergsen does, and he's widely regarded as the best midlane NA (if not the best player).
