Riot stole my idea

I am the one who came up with the idea to add team builder to ranked and when I did riot deleted it and I got a message saying "We appreciate your passion but you posted this is the wrong section" So I lost all of my views and positive posts. So I re posted it and now for some STRANGE reason I can't post on that thread anymore and one month later riot announces the new match making system. I don't want money I just want credit for my ideas. I am trying to evolve the game, I should be given recognition. You guys are thieves and scoundrels. You make millions upon millions of dollars. How difficult would it be to mention my name when you announce something I created.

I could be the only person to have POSTED about it. To talk about the positives and the flaws with our current system and why it is critical to have something like that. That is much different then sitting in your room with an idea floating around in your head.

So your saying that since Team Builder was implemented, you where the only person to post about making the obvious next step to ranked? I remember quite a few post about this in the first couple weeks after it hit live. Also remember commenting on a few about how it was a good idea. That said even if the community came to the conclusion that this was a good idea and you were the first to have posted about it, don't you think that maybe they had the idea about ranked team builder from the very beginning and were looking about how to make it work? I.E. will enough people in all elo play each role, how long will queue's take in each rank, how can you troll this(how can we stop trolls). It could be that they wanted to implement this sooner but ran into problems and had to delay it. And so never spoke of it because, if they had announced it then delayed it, they'd get chastised. If they announced it and it came out wonky, they get chastised. If they don't announce it and it gets delayed to work out bugs, no one is the wiser.

Was it so obvious though? I mean that is like saying every single temporary game type they add should be added to ranked as well and it is not even exactly the same as team builder. In team builder you get to fine tune your runes/ masteries beforehand it is it still blind... Also the REASONING behind WHY you should add it is CRUCIAL. Toxicity is a HUGE FUCKING PROBLEM in league and it all starts from champion select. IDENTIFYING AND ADDRESSING these issues is what separates me and some jackass who says " Hey , we should add TB to ranked "

I started by asking if you do believe that. I then shared an ideas that were possibilities that could have happened. Yet you, attacked me. You stated lower that your original post was 5-6 months old. Interesting but still I never claimed to be the first person to use ranked and team builder in the same sentence. I simply and claiming the rights to be the person to break down why it is important which is what convinces someone to do something. Think of it as a job resume and everyone else put " I want to get paidx10" on their resumes and mine has a cover letter and is encrusted with gold. There is a clear difference between my posts and the others.

Even after admitting to this I have done my own "ranked team builder" search and I am not seeing THOUSANDS of posts. The three that he linked are the only ones even REMOTELY similar to mine.

You caught me. Although I had no prior knowledge of this post, not only does it predate mine but it explains very well why it should be added. I highly doubt there are more than 5-10 of these quality of posts added period since TB has been added. If any credit should be given it is to this person. Either way, I don't like how Riot gives no credit to the people who put in time and effort to figure this shit out. I also do not feel any regret for making this post because my idea came purely out of my own head and nobody else. If you look at my profile I only recently start posting on the forums and have been inactive.

All you had to do was search gameplay instead of the whole boards to find this. :) Also if you had spoken like this from the get go, Proabaly wouldn't have so much hate on this thread. Just sayin, anyways. I can understand where you are coming from in this post atleast.(the rest of your posts were just venom being thrown around.) Personally I don't care if they take my idea or not, so long as it improves the game. Like I've stated previously Kha'Zix is very similar to a champion I created on the old forum, called Gromp. There's a section in the Terms of Service that says that if you post an idea and Riot adopts the idea that they owe you no credit what-so-ever.

Credit would be referring to some kind of compensation. That is understandable for small ideas like changing an ability etc. But in my opinion this is a very big change for the future of league of legends and will improve toxicity tenfold. I am solving the root of a lot of problems with this idea and I am not arrogant for saying so. I have had a lot of people agree with me prior to this being announced and said they wanted it added.

Simply wanting team builder to be ranked is a simple thought process. Explaining why and how it affects the game to not have it present is a completely different idea in itself. Combining the two is makes the idea unique. UNIQUE! Do you understand the term?

I am giving my ideas away for free out of a place of love and improvement and Riot benefits when people stop raging and playing new games etc. It feels like a huge slap in the face to be honest, I actually cried when they announced it because I love this game so much and wanted to change it and I feel like they just completely robbed me and covered it up.

There's something that you need to realize. Hundreds of thousands of people thought about and suggest a ranked team builder. The only reason that Riot would make such a drastic change to the matchmaking experience is if everyone kept suggesting a similar idea, which is what happened. You're no special snowflake. You're part of a movement group towards a healthier matchmaking experience.

Riot may have been considering it since they began implementing Teambuilder but wanted to wait and gather data before implementing it in ranked. It didn't necessarily have to come from the community.

Honestly I wouldn't be so upset about this if riot hadn't been unjustly giving me chat bans for trying to play off meta champions. I feel like they bully me and now this. Of course I am going to be salty because original ideas are once in a lifetime. They come from a very special place and should be respected as such.

Chat bans can also be based off of high volume of reports. Thanks for playing you can go home now. Like when I basically started the trend to play NIdalee JG before her hunted buff and got report x9 every single game and then one month later nidalee is the most OP jungler for 3 months straight. This is exactly the reason why I am sour in the first place.

I also find it unlikely that you were the first to play nidalee jungle, but here you go claiming that both nidalee jungle and ranked teambuder were first thought up by YOU, and everyone knows this isn't true

I love how you quote something that is not even correct while you insult me. Get your facts straight before you post plz. You can be chat banned for high volume of reports even if you say nothing. By getting banned for trying to be creative, you the community created a toxic player. Just because pros do something in an LCS game doesn't mean you have to copy paste in low elo solo Q. E sports is just that, a sport. Anyone who has played sports in there life no that it goes beyond a ball and a hoop. It is a form of expression and this community makes expression impossible because everybody is just as arrogant as you claim I am.

Riot has done nothing but reap the rewards from ideas that have already been created which is fine when you are up and coming but when you are the number #1 MOBA in the WORLD, it is time to start spreading the love a little bit. Do you even hear yourself? One suggestion from a Rioter, maybe, but even then they would probably still discuss it as a team using it as a base. What I meant by that is, you are NOT the only one who suggested this, and you do NOT deserve credit or a shout out of any sort because you did NOT read the Terms and Conditions so now you are asking for things NOT entitled to you. So because the TERMS AND CONDITIONS say they are allowed to STEAL your ideas without giving you JACK SHIT it's ok? You know Riot is doing something similar and it really fucking pisses me off. My entire life swearing and cussing has been a fun part of gaming and it was a way to vent when you got destroyed or something and now I feel like if I sneeze I get chat banned. My rights as a citizen say I can say whatever the fuck I want to but because riot adds it in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS it nulls my RIGHTS AS A CITIZEN? Nah fuck that. I will continue to be angry tyvm.
