How to rebalance Lucian

With the recent changes to Lucian's E I think Riot has strayed away from Lucian's Matrix style gameplay where he is trigger happy but just out of harms reach if played correctly. Adding the mana cost to the E was a good choice in the early game because he can dodge skill shots too easily which is currently the meta for support IMO. I have thought of a way to change his E a little bit so he is a rewarded in teamfights for good focus.

Relentless Pursuit : If Lucian hits enemy champions with two of his passive double shots, his E is instantly reset. Lucian's basic auto attacks will no longer reduce the cooldown of his E.

I don't think we could use a Kalista 2.0. His current state seems fine now.

A lot of people forget that some champions are considered "good" because people have taken the time to master them. Lucian falls into that category and with the recent nerfs to his ulti as well I feel like he has lost a bit too much power.

Also this is not only meant to just buff Lucian but to promote a more technically rewarding play style. If you can really grasp a team fight you should be rewarded for it.

If this newly promoted ability is a bit too over powered, the late game E can always have it's mana cost increased accordingly.

now if wiki is correct in telling me that his paassive is proced by an ability... and u say he needs proc it twice theeeeeen taking the 2 CD of the 2 skills he gots theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen....... his dash gets a reset every 15 seconds (assuming he has no CDR) which is tbh seemingly worse than the current -2 seconds everytime you shoot someone

correct me if im wrong since i dont play lucian but this sounds like a nerf

i just imagine the instant AA burst - AA-passive- e-AA-passive-e repeat until lane opponent is dead.

When I say double shot I mean literally that. For example he must land his Q AA then W AA THEN it will reset. Also his AA will no longer gradually reset the CD of his E. Sorry I forgot to add that.

His problem is not this, he can't teamfight well enough compared to any longer range carry. With just 1 assasin, he is a dead meat every fight.

Just give back ad scaling on Ardent Blaze and a little not a lot just a little more range. Please.
