Learning something from HoN and Dota2

I recently gave HoN a try and I was amazed at some of the game options they have. Most importantly the remake option. If somebody troll last picked a champion or someone was watching the latest worldstar vine during champ select and picks double mid by mistake, you should at least have the option to remake the game before the game turns into a psychotic/toxic feed fest due to one players decision before the game has EVEN STARTED. This happens in draft and this happens in blind. It's the small things. Also Dota 2's Low Priority que needs to be stolen imo so if you have someone go afk or start feeding you can still play without feeling like you are being held prisoner. Some people are actually trying to improve... Being forced to farm creeps for 25 minutes as they come crashing into your base like a Starcraft game is not my idea of self improvement.

As I scroll up the threads on this forum I am noticing a lot of complex performance reward systems being pitched to fix toxicity. Although I encourage these ideas, I think we need to start with the simpler things first. Regardless of if they do not happen " frequently " for some people. As far as I am concerned, one of these scenarios as mentioned above is enough to put me on tilt for 3 games straight. Even if I planned to play for a couple of hours, after playing a double jg game I find myself watching youtube.
