Okay so last season i was bronze 5 and this season i won 6/10 and i got bronze 5. My friend lost all of his games and got bronze 2. So my question is if i don't play season 7 and wait tell season 8 will ti reset or will it take my season 6 again like this time?
Your placements are based off of your MMR and finishing rank from last season. You friend has higher MMR than you so he placed higher. The amount of wins in placements aren't as important. If you wait till season 7 to play ranked, even if you finish 10/10 in placements, you will be almost guaranteed to be placed in Bronze 5 since that is where you finished this season.
