Is it just me or is the skill level of the average jungler much lower than what it used to be?
I am not a high level player, and have also been on a terrible losing streak due to being under the weather over the past few days.
But I climbed out of Iron III to Silver III with an 80% winrate last month before I took a long break and fell ill and can probably go higher except I really am skeptical on whether I want to play this game anymore. Anyway, this isn't a rant but a genuine observation I have from playing the last two seasons.
Jungle is shit in this season and jungle pressure fucks every lane up harder than it ever did, jungle is a far more impactful lane than it ever was and is fucking gamechanging in every sense of the word what with vision nerfed and the perma gank meta Riot so dearly loves. However I have a feeling that a lot of people who still play jungle just can't cope with this meta.
The junglers I come across and even from hearing of my friends play in Diamond and above seem to either be a hit or a total miss these days. You either get junglers who do well, or those do have absolutely no fucking clue on which lane to gank, when to invade, and when to farm.
Junglers who won't watch the map an go for the drake while the opponent is top side, and junglers who even when top side would rather farm Krugs than help counter gank a top laner.
Most junglers these days feel fucking brainless, immature, and people incapable of wiping their own ass.
