I HONESTLY CANNOT STAND BEING IN BRONZE. ALL YOUR TEAMS DO IS THROW. I AM NOW IN FUCKING BRONZE 5 AND NOW NOBODY TAKES THE SHIT THAT COMES OUT OF MY FUCKING MOUTH SERIOUSLY. I DONT DESERVE BRONZE, I DESERVE TO BE IN GOLD, AND I KNOW IT IS FOR THE MOST PART IT IS NOT ME. I KNOW THIS POST IS GOING TO GET DOWNVOTED 50 MILLION TIMES OR SOMETHING BUT I AM SO DONE WITH PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT THIS GAME.

Improving CS skills is a good way to increase the amount of income you earn every game. This will allow you to purchase more items and thus, be more effective in engagements and the taking of objs.

If you're in Bronze, you don't know shit about this game either. It's impossible to get to Bronze unless you belong there. Trust me, I thought I was unfairly placed there too. Once I learned more about the game, I realised how wrong I was. Find a higher level player (preferably Plat+) to coach you a little. Many people will do it for free if you ask nicely.

^ You're gonna hate hearing it. But this is good advice. Take it from a D1, I usually play on likeamaws. The account I'm posting on was perma'd several seasons back and is exclusively for forum use. Strat tells it like it is. Find some high level players to teach you things so you can learn to hard carry at that level. I'm going to link you to a thread that can help some, it had nothing to do with mechanics, but rather system knowledge in regards to ranked. One moment.

A link to some tips that will help you understand the system better: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/UUK4IK2x-f-u-riot Its just as important to understand the system as it is to improve mechanically and in terms of game knowledge.

The truth is harsh. The sooner you accept that you are the reason you are where you are, the sooner you can actually get to work identifying your flaws. It's hard to see your own flaws since you don't even know what it is you're doing wrong.

I was "stuck" in Bronze V Elo for about 6 months a few years ago until I accepted this. Once I started focusing on my own self improvement, I rose straight to Gold.

This guy is absolutely right. If you play with the attitude that your team sucks and they're the only reason you lose you won't get any better. After you notice that you're not any better than they are (it's true in 9/10 cases) you can fix your mistakes and start climbing. Just rewatch one of your games and you notice that you indeed belong in the division you are in, you make mistakes too.

Edit: YOUGOTKILLEDBRO - I know this is a long read, but please take a look - something here may help you.

I got placed in bronze as well - yeah it sucks, but the fact is, there isnt much divergence in skill level throughout bronze. My entire way up, never experienced someone extensively better than the rest of the players (no, not even me), and I was in Bronze a LONG time.

Looking over your match history (lolking op, pls nerf) you need to do a few things.

  1. GET THAT CREEP SCORE UP. I had (and still have, honestly) a hard time with this. last hitting a bit better (I assume, didn't watch the game) and such will help. The trick is you cant sacrifice your team for your farm, so you have to balance keeping up with participating (again, you may already be doing that, I cant really tell, just looking at your cs)
  2. You had a few fairly strong Vayne games a bit before I posted this. You really seem to do well with her, so congrats on that (I suck on vayne) - but she can be hard to teamwork with. At its heart, League is a team game. You will NOT win trying to solo carry (unless the other team is just bad, and you are playing one of a select few champs)
  3. If you play ranked while mad, you are gonna have a bad time. NEVER. EVER. play ranked mad. (jsut advice that helped me and a couple others getting out of bronze - you know if you need it or not.)
  4. NEVER insult, ridicule, or abuse your teammates. Teemo jungle thought he could 1v2? Point out, POLITELY, its a bad idea, and that his choice of jungle was likely going to a negative impact on his play. (this happened to me btw) - making people feel bad and self conscious makes them play WORSE. If you really are THAT MUCH better? HELP them. POLITELY and PATIENTLY explain to them what they did that was wrong (and if you say "stop dieing" and call that advice, you are literally just being a useless asshole) and give advice for what they could do in the future.
  5. BE A TEAM LEADER. If you are pinging (APPROPRIATELY AND RESPONSIBLY, not 6-8 times) objectives/towers, calling to group, stating targets and goals, you can LEAD a bad team to victory. And often, they will greatly appreciate it, and even play better because they FEEL like they are part of a TEAM. Not fighting each other while the other team wins.

This is all advice that got me out bronze, and can be EXTREMELY helpful is pulling through - but two more things:

A) You still wont win every game. While it is not ONLY trolls/afks/etc, Bronze does have the HIGHEST concentration of them. All you can do is accept that it is part of the game, and move on. Focusing on it will make you rage, and play worse. And throwing? That happens too. League is still, to some extent, a strategy game from start to finish. Good plays by a losing opponent matched with mistakes on your teams part can CRUSH your victory chances. IT HAPPENS. TO EVERYONE.

B) If you get to where you just can't take it, dont become a toxic player. Take a break from ranked, play norms. Practice, and get better. Then next season hope for better placement, and move from there. I have NEVER been in B5, but I have heard stories, and it does TRULY sound frustrating to a massive extent. Keep in mind that this is a GAME, for ENTERTAINMENT. You do not have a future or job or pay or college riding on this. While it is ego boosting and such to have a high elo, don't ruin your attitude or enjoyment of league in exchange for it.

i disagree... ive played n relied on some really garbage players... my first time going ranked in the 2 years ive played im a great player but... you can lose 5 in a row from just horrible players... period,... you will literally never get a fair shake in ranked unless you play with people you can rely on, anybody tell you otherwise, they are talking out their ass.. its random.. you get trols feeders afks at random... server problems..(frequently) or simply bad players again.

There is a video I will link in a moment. You can find others like it posted on youtube also. GD was doing a series of High ELO players vs low elo players to make a point about the disparity in skill. The games were always 3v5, with 3 high levels vs 5 silvers/bronze players. Needless to say, the low levels were consistently getting trounced and many felt as you did. To make a point, I snuck into one of these games on a smurf to prove a different point. TheFreak321 makes a good point about being a leader and leading your team and how competent teamwork can overcome the skill gap. After consistently getting trounced by high level players the low level guys were pretty discouraged. When I snuck into the low level player side I laid out a gameplan which was discussed in detail before the last match. It was executed (sloppily, I was working with bronze and silver dudes, lol, but it WAS executed) and the low level players pulled off a nice win. Link coming.

Bronze just has a crazy mix of players. I am a solid player, but still in deep bronze. I have just grown content because I have noticed there are overmatched/unknowledgable players in every division pissing people off and making bad games. And I know I'm helping every single team I play on, so I stay pretty chill about all the weak unbalanced teams I play on that keep me low ranked.

D1rtFarmer1 votes

heh.. mistakes aside from sheer lack of teamwork is different. the fact is.. you simply dont control other people. i won a game where their garen was intentionally feeding us since lvl 1.. so if they were stuck in promos... i guess they have some hard facts to face.. that they make mistakes too? no.. the fact is.. this can happen to anybody. i lose lanes where im repeatedly ganked. if my jungler doesnt "like" my champion he doesnt show... period... so climbing ranked usually comes down to popular champ selection... and a blatant lack of knowledge of the champion pool which leads to others not knowing what their teammates are capable of... thus the lack of support from my team no matter how i do, sometimes we win.. or sometimes we lose. i should prob use more popular champs...as popular champs can carry easier it seems.

You can't win in Bronze? You deserve Gold?

Listen(or read, idc), when my friend from high school told me bullshit like that, I took my unranked alt lost 8 out of 10 promo games on purpose (other two were impossible to lose, unless I'd go AFK and even then that'd be hard as "Dante Must Die") and then went from Bronze 3 to Gold 5 in a week with 90% winrate.

At the time I was Gold 3 myself.

uh no... just lucky is all.. period. you saying otherwise is a joke... i can do % probabilities on how possible it is.. but you had to beat the odds... plenty of times. you can be a great carry... but what hpappens when u dont get the carrying role? sometimes i support... hoping my carry isnt some shitty little kid.. same with my mid lane..so.. fck u guys..ur talking out ur ass
