Morde needs some love

His winrate went down considerably with the rylis nerf. Why can't we see a compensation buff?

I've honestly been having to rely on getting PD as a core item to make up for the rylis changes. I shouldn't be building an adc item to boost my tank stats and give me movement speed...

INB4 build dead mans plate, that helps me touch them once, that doesn't allow me to get 3 q's off or even do much of anything once I get in combat. Also as honorable mention with the amount of cc in the game it feels like I'm pretty much trapped into building merc treads over the bonus ms from swiftness.

They're not buffing him because they are planning to rework him after Galio or Irelia, from what I know.

That would be because a lot of mordes power is abuse-able due to matchup knowledge. When you play morde alot, you know exactly what fights you can and can't win. When you are new to morde, it feels like you can win all fights. Build knowledge is also a lot of his matchup power. You can build almost any item on him, and have it be useful. He scales with everything except mana and mana regen. HE scales off of, ap, ad, tank, healing bonuses, MS. A lot of the difficulty of playing him is knowing what to build when. More experienced players know what to build.

Also, places like champion.gg take plat and above games. Higher MMR team fights function differently at different MMR's. The lower you are, the less likely you are to have a teammate go into a team fight with you. Lots and Lots of Mordes power rely on having an ally, even if it is just a minion, or a dragon ghost, which players with more experience on the champion utilize better.

Those winrate on the very best players dropped 20% since Rylais nerf. ( The best players I followed went from 75-80% to 55-60)

Mordekaiser winrate has dropped 4-5% in every ELO. With only diamond maintaining a 50+%

And when every ELO only had 49% that's a very obvious indication

Morde needs help. Yes, Rioters have said he's in line for a rework, but who knows how long he's going to be standing in line with his thumb up his metal ass? I say at least give him some pity buffs until then.

As an aside, PD is an interesting idea. The DR passive is nice, the MS it gives is great, and even the attack speed it gives benefits Q. The crit I don't know about. I don't think the extra damage from his Qs crits, but the normal auto damage might. Then again, I haven't heard anyone test crit interactions with Morde so who knows what might happen.

The idea of sinking all that gold into AS and crit is kind of iffy to me though. Do you tend to rush it first item or leave it for later on?

To answer your question PD --> sterks gauge --> trinity force --> DMP

Bonus q damage dosent crit, aa damage while Qing can crit. Sterks raises base ad, morde has the highest (base) in the game. Triforce uses base damage (which you just raised) Sterks shield with dmp and PD give survive-ability, follow it up with hextech gunblade and you have all the stats you need for a 1v1 or some light team fight surviveability.

Cdr, as, hp, damage reduction, in combat healing, it's hard to run from triforce PD, and dat sheen proc damage.
